Research interests

Plant ecophysiology and Stress physiology, plant stress impact, stress interactions, tolerance and acclimation of the plants, integrated responses of plants to single and multiple environmental factors.
Antioxidant ecology, reactive oxygen species, antioxidant signaling in acclimation responses, antioxidative system and stress tolerance.
Ecosystem research, Ecosystem functioning, Climate change and large-scale effects of multiple stressors on terrestrial vegetation.
Long-term integrated ecosystem monitoring, stress detection, remote sensing of vegetation and earth observation.
