1997 - 1999: expert for development of botanical databases for NP “Rila” and NP “Central Balkan” of the GEF Project for Biodiversity Conservation in Bulgaria.
2000 - 2003: expert for database organization and management in the regional node of Euro+Med PlantBase Project of the 5th Framework Programme of the EC.
2001: expert for development of a database with information for the biodiversity and threats on the territory of NP “Rila Monastery” during the project of USAID for Rapid Ecological Assessment of Rila Monastery Nature Park.

Taxonomy of higher plants; genus Hypericum; rare and threatened plants research; aquatic plants research;application of geographical information systems and databases in botany and ecology.
