Education:

2013-present: PhD-student in Ecology, Department of Animal Diversity and Resources, Institute of Biodiversity and Ecosystem Research at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.
Thesis: Role of the European – African bird migratory system to form the range of Haemosporidians from genus Plasmodium and Haemoproteus (Haemosporida).
Supervisor: Assoc. Prof. Pavel Zehtindjiev

Bird parasites: morphology studies and molecular researches on blood parasites (Haemosporida) in wild birds, ecology, evolution and distribution.
Bird migration: physiological and ecological aspects of bird migration, blood parasites as a population markers for some migratory bird species.
Reintroduction of rare and endangered species: ecology of captive birds and methods for reintroduction in nature
