Projects
2006 –2014 - Science and Management: studies on conservation biology, applying of EU Bird Directive in Bulgaria, Natura 2000 site in Bulgaria, wetland conservation and management; wetland birds, UTM mapping of breeding birds, habitat distribution of birds, wetland restoration, monitoring of birds.
2010–2023 - Ornithologist, monitoring of birds in the wind farms in the country.
2010-2025 - Participation in the project: Spatial distribution of the Mediterranean Yellow-legged Gull (Larus michahellis) from the largest natural breeding colony on St. Ivan Island – Sozopol, Bulgaria.
2013 - Assessment and control of data for mapping and conservation of habitats and species of the project “Mapping and Assessment of the Conservation Status of Natural Habitats and Species, Phase 1, MOEW Participation of the Project “Elaboration of a National Park along the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast.
2014 - Mapping and Assessment of the Ecosystem Services in the Bulgarian Wetlands (WEMA) Program BG03 “Biodiversity and Ecosystems” according to the financial mechanism of EIP 2009-2014.
2014 - Participation in the updating of the Management Plan of the maintained reserve "Atanasovsko Lake" with RIEW-Burgas; expert.
2014 –2021 - PhD Student at the Department of Biodiversity. PhD thesis „Development and application of radar methods for studying the parameters of bird migration over the territory of Bulgaria “.
2015 - Participation in the production of a documentary entitled "Improving the management of mountain forest ecosystems for the sustainable provision of ecosystem services in the conditions of climate change. "
2017-2022 - - Ornithologist, monitoring of the wintering geese in the AES Geo Energy Wind Park “Sveti Nikola” territory and the Kaliakra region, Bulgaria.
2020 - Participation in the project "Development of specific and detailed conservation objectives at protected area level for 13 protected areas of the Natura 2000 network in Bulgaria" from the National Scientific Programme of the Ministry of Education and Science "Environmental Protection and Risk Reduction from Adverse Natural Phenomena".
2021 - Participation in the project "Development of specific and detailed conservation objectives at protected area level for 22 protected areas of the Natura 2000 network in Bulgaria".
2022 - Participation in the project: 'Development of specific and detailed conservation objectives at protected area level for 21 protected areas of the Natura 2000 network in Bulgaria'.
2023 - Participation in the project: action plan for the conservation of colonially breeding waterbirds - A. ralloides, E. alba, E. garzetta, N. nycticorax, P. leucorodia, P. falcinellus, R. avosetta, G. pratincola, Ch. hybrida, Ch. niger, G. nilotica, S. hirundo, S. sandvicensis, S. albifrons, L. melanocephalus for the period 2023-2032'.
