First colour marking of Yellow-legged Gulls in Bulgaria

Yellow-legged Gulls (Larus michahellis) were colour ringed for the first time in Bulgaria during the summer of 2012. The birds were marked with colour & individually coded rings by experts of the Bulgarian Ornithological Centre at the Institute of Biodiversity and Ecosystem Research, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and the Natural History Department of Burgas Regional Museum (NHD-BRM).

More information about the ringing activities could be found here.
